1. What inspired you to get into real estate, and how long have you been in real estate?
I bought my first home at 22 while juggling college classes and working as a self-employed nanny. I fell in love with the entire process—and with my Realtor. She guided me with such care and integrity that I remember thinking, I want to do what she does.
There was a small hiccup with my financing, but instead of panicking, I tracked down the owner of the bank and asked him to personally review my file. He called me bold and solution-focused… then said I should consider a career in real estate.
2. Where is your hometown, and what do you love most about where you live now?
Edmond, Oklahoma (Go Bulldogs & Bronchos!) and bought my first home in Choctaw. I now live in Nichols Hills, and it would be hard not to love it. The community is incredible, and the amenities are endless. We’re spoiled to have nearly every need or want within a mile of our home.
3. Tell us about your family—who’s your biggest cheerleader?
My mom and dad are both local professional musicians. My mom plays clarinet and saxophone with several community orchestras, including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. My dad is a local legend—a jazz trumpet player and former director of the UCO Jazz Lab. He’s performed with many greats, including The Count Basie Orchestra, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Elvis Costello, The Temptations, Diane Schuur, and more.
My biggest cheerleader is my husband, Tony. He’s a chiropractor by trade but retired while still owning his practice of 19 years. He now manages our rental properties and Airbnbs. He’s my rock and keeps me positive through all of real estate’s ups and downs.
4. What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? (A hidden talent, fun fact, or past career?)
I can spin fire—also known as Poi. It’s useless talent #839. I saw someone do it at a house party in college, decided to try it (no fire at first!), and picked it up quickly. It’s a fun party trick. I guess if real estate doesn’t work out, there’s always a resort gig in Hawaii!
5. What does “luxury” mean to you—and how do you deliver that experience?
Luxury, to me, means time saved and expectations not only met but exceeded. It’s about being fully heard and cared for. This experience can be delivered at any budget if you have a heart of service and hospitality.
6. Describe your perfect Sunday (no open houses allowed).
Laying out in the backyard by the pool with my Frenchies, preferably in 75-degree weather—with all calls saved for Monday.
7. Do you have a favorite local restaurant, coffee spot, or hangout?
Deem Laow is my go-to spot at Tana Thai in OKC. The food is incredible, and so are the cocktails. If I’m not there, you’ll likely find me fine-dining at Symmetry Steakhouse or “wine-ing” at Two Doors Down, both in Casady Square in the Nichols Hills/Village area.
8. What hobbies or passions do you enjoy outside of real estate?
Working out, boxing, French Bulldog hobby breeding (we’re absolutely obsessed with our fur babies), and of course—travel, which I believe is essential.
9. If you could have dinner with any two people—alive or from history—who would they be and why?
From history: Jesus or Job. I’d love to be around two of the most faithful hearts.
Alive: Tony, always. Beyond that, anyone who’s intellectual without taking life too seriously—and who loves to laugh.
10. How has joining The Agency elevated your business or mindset?
Brand matters. The Agency is led by good people with good intentions, and that’s a big reason for its success. Working here has shown me how to provide a higher level of service to my clients—more than any other brokerage I’ve ever been part of. It’s unmatched, and that’s why we—and the brand—stand out.
